"Dreamin'" is a watercolor painting.This beautiful and colorful cove in the SW corner of Washinington State has an interesting and tragic history, that's all it's own (It's called "Dead Man's Cove"). But when I saw this idyllic place for the first time, I wanted to stay forever! The driftwood was strewn all over the beach for anyone to explore and jump around on. I wanted to paint the serene nature of this place...But, again, this is a great tucked-away beach for the curious who love to adventure!!
It has been both a spiritual and emotional journey for me, from childhood on, that I'm an artist today. My paintings always start with a prayer. I have particularly enjoyed painting with watercolors and at times with oils. I give a lot of credit to my own terrific Dad, for his encouragement to grow up “Free to be, whom one is meant to be”…. The freedom to be an artist, that is always seeking, was constantly supported. I have enjoyed connecting with others through the paintings and embracing the places where I live. I've enjoyed challenging myself to express the wonderful world we all inhabit. Painting watercolors and oils are my way to express a need to glorify creation and my creator. I enjoy playing with photography as well....
