"Goat Piggybackers" is a watercolor painting. I was asked to do a painting with birds for our gallery and came up with this fun painting! These birds were riding along on the back of the goat, in an over grown grassy field. They were piggybacking and poking around for food. I kept the painting happy, scrappy and kissed with sunshine!
It has been both a spiritual and emotional journey for me, from childhood on, that I'm an artist today. My paintings always start with a prayer. I have particularly enjoyed painting with watercolors and at times with oils. I give a lot of credit to my own terrific Dad, for his encouragement to grow up “Free to be, whom one is meant to be”…. The freedom to be an artist, that is always seeking, was constantly supported. I have enjoyed connecting with others through the paintings and embracing the places where I live. I've enjoyed challenging myself to express the wonderful world we all inhabit. Painting watercolors and oils are my way to express a need to glorify creation and my creator. I enjoy playing with photography as well....
