"Horseback Beach Memories" is a watercolor painting. This painting was fun to do with it's momentary-like feel of being at the beach on horseback and gazing out to the blue water horizon. It is fun and a thrill to go together on such a ride! Lots of memories are made when enjoying the fresh air, the smell of the ocean and the sense of freedom when riding a horse at the beach.
It has been both a spiritual and emotional journey for me, from childhood on, that I'm an artist today. My paintings always start with a prayer. I have particularly enjoyed painting with watercolors and at times with oils. I give a lot of credit to my own terrific Dad, for his encouragement to grow up “Free to be, whom one is meant to be”…. The freedom to be an artist, that is always seeking, was constantly supported. I have enjoyed connecting with others through the paintings and embracing the places where I live. I've enjoyed challenging myself to express the wonderful world we all inhabit. Painting watercolors and oils are my way to express a need to glorify creation and my creator. I enjoy playing with photography as well....
